I like the smoke chrome; however, SSB is difficult. I think silver or the machined finish works the best due to the color of the trim. Not sure a dark wheel color would work. I've toyed with the idea of matching the inside of the wheel to the SSB paint and leaving the lip machined.

I cant remember who it was but a while back someone did the inside of the wheel and the inside of the spokes black, with a silver lip...i think his car was the light blue color. It looked really good.

If someone can provide the link it might give you some ideas.

We'd have more options if we didn't have the silver trim.

Corrosion from under the paint probably, should be covered under warranty .

That was my car. I did it a while back and couldn't be happier with them. I don't know how to paste a link with this dandy iPhone, but you can find the thread called "powdercoated the SRT rims recently"

Here's the link to the thread about powdercoating the wheels.

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=27260

Powdercoating probably isn't what you were going for, but it's always good to know that you have options for modifying your wheels. I think the smoky metallic look you found would do just fine on your car color.

Here's what a smoke/grey rim looks like on a SSB(although it's not a stock rim). I think that color looks good on the car..........

LeePie can't beat covered by warranty. Moparrbust, those wheels look great on your SSB. Who makes them and what sizes are you running?
