I think the 370 looks VERY good. But with 2 SRT6's, I wont be looking for a new sports car for a while...

I really like the new 370z. Stock for stock I think it would be close, but if drivers are equal, then I think the 6 would win. Just like previously stated the 350z's and g35's are all over the place where I live too and I know it'll be just a matter of time before the 370 is the same way. Also like previously stated, with just a few simple bolt ons the 6 is a low 12 second car.

i liked that pic of the yellow z.....

i think a sport-yellow SRT-6 would look a LOT cooler!!!!!

and i agree with all of the previous comments, the SRT-6 is probably the BIGGEST BANG-FOR-BUCK! i'm usually pretty good at searching for comparisons on the net, and i can't find anything that can give you ALL that we have at our price! (probably why many own '2'!!!!!)

i'm REALLY considering buying another as well.....
maybe a roadster this time.

there was a good point made about parts, since they aren't being built anymore. All you have do is stock up on your own parts if you are going to keep it. I plan on keep mine a long time, so I am putting away parts now. Alt, water pump, etc...for the future. I hope I won't need them for a long time, but, Ill have them when I do...keep my 6..

Anyone would be a fool I think to lose their Crossfire... especially an SRT6. I am sure they will be worth something one day if the world is still around. lol people who have two of them are smart! When I get money I hope to buy another Base 6-speed.

I reminds me of the 240 260 Z's. It also looks like something Lotus might design, but in a cheaper way. Kinda quirky. Can't decide if I like it or not. But I find myself wanting to like it. I can't say I care much for anything japanese. They all seem rather souless. I drove a 350 Z and wasn't nearly as impressed with it as I should have been.

I envy you! I love my new SRT-6 so much I'm already in the market for a roadster version. My fiance is going to strangle me.

I like the new 370, the interior looks a lot nicer and they fixed the rear STB so that the cargo area can hold a suitcase now. The syncro rev match is one of those features that should have been out long ago- props for Nissan for figuring it out! There are a few things that bother me though:

1) Unless you order nav you have a huge empty bin taking up 50% of the center stack.

2) The roofline looks like it was designed for someone with the torso of a 6'5" person but with the legs of someone 4' tall.

3) It's pricey- around 34 grand for a base car with the sport package.

I can't wait to see what the new Camaro and Genesis coupe do when they come out. There is going to be a lot of competition in the $30,000 to $35,000 coupe market soon!

OMFG thats the first time i saw one...yuck. Looks like the 2 door altima. Only thing nice i can say is the a-pillar and roof lines kinda have a fighter jet/cockpit affect.

I love my SRT-6 and it stills draws admiring glances but I'm getting increasingly concerned about spares. I have a Chrysler full warranty until Jan 2010; so what's the worry you may well ask? Well, I've had a noisy water pump now for two months and Chrysler UK are unable to find a replacement. Yes I know it has to come from MB and if I had a 2006SLK 320 AMG with the same problem, then I would have had it sorted with 24 hours. But if my Gran had have had *****, she'd have been my Grandad!

I don't have an MB; I have an SRT6 and it even took four days for a replacement alternator. What's it going to be if something major goes wrong? Let's face it - if the water pump had failed (and it could at any time) I'd have been off the road for over eight weeks now.

Economics allowing, I change my car every three years to avoid problems with breakdowns etc. It's hassle-free motoring and I know I pay a price for this in depreciation but, for now, that's my choice. So, the SRT would have been under consideration for a change in 2010 anyway. Events may accelerate this. The Infiniti G37S is also on the list but Infiniti aren't launching the brand in the UK until mid 2009, and the way things are going this may be even later.

Cheers

Get a Johnson pump.......they're better, they bolt right on, and you don't have to mortgage your firstborn to Daimler/Chrysler

I believe he is talking about the WATER PUMP not the IC pump.

i think the 370 is superior to the 350 in every way. but, the gt-r...

if i had 100k to throw around, i'd get a new gt-r and a 6 roadster with lo miles.

S'right

It's the main water pump; the IC pump still seems OK at 15k miles but average temperature in my part of the world is quite low, even in summer. I think this has a bearing ( pun intended) on the life of the IC pump.

Cheers

It's an attractive car - far more so than the Boxster or BMW. Especially in the smaller form factor. But as shown with the Z-spokes it costs close to $40k. That buys almost 2 SRT6s. I'm also disenchanted with the synchro match on the manual tranny. Hey Nissan - why not invent something that actually shifts the car so the driver doesn't have to worry about that, too?

I also agree the synchro rev-match isn't really all that important. After all, rev-matching is something that people do with the accelerator, and in some cases, one doesn't want to do at all (think clutch popping).

I hope they can turn that feature off!
