I think that's the one - would be fun to run the 1/4 mile if possible.

I will drive up early Friday morning. Please call me at 832-724-4689/Scott
We have the last 130ft for 10 cars and an RV.
I'll give you a call - I figure I can park the truck and trailer somewhere along to track - so I'll only need a spot for the SRT.

You can park in the grass with your SRT6 behind you. Call me today if you can.

My registraton for the three days finally went thru.

Got a few items to fix on the truck and then find a trailer I'll be hookin' in the 185MPH class..

This could be big fun!! - I'll try to bring the 650cc to cruz the pits with...

Thanks, it will be interesting to see what the SRT6 can do in one mile.

I'm going to run with my current setup and PS2's. I thought about fabbing up a set of uncorked straight pipes - so I could unbolt and remove the factory exhaust from the manifold - back to the muffler, and bolt the two short run pipes with two 02 simulators for the secondary sensors...but I'll run the mile like I do on the street.....

H.K. told me to expect at least 4-5 runs per day (or more) so hopefully I'll get 15 runs in for the three days. That should give me plenty of time to make adjustments, learn the track and take some readings and compete with HK and Machine for the fastest SRT6.

One of us will go home the fastest....

I hope you are the fastest because I would hate to see you after dragging your tail all the way back home. j/k

I think your car will be set right and ready to run. This is going to be a great event.

Texas hosts another great race next month called the Big Bend Open Road Race - Perhaps next year I'll do both the TM & BBOR

The Silver State Classic is comming up in May.

Perhaps a roll cage and a pair of racing seats with five point harness' are in the future.......

Brian,
I think that one in Vegas in Sept for the mile would be a good plan. It would still be hot...but LOTS of fun.... you wouldnt even have to drive very far...

H.K. - did you get your number assignments yet? I have yet to hear back from my request.

The trailer is 90% ready to go (but won't have a work bench or tool chest) and the SRT6 is about 80% ready. Little more tuning, some clean filters and an oil change and alignment.

Next 10 days will be busy.

Im eagerly awaiting the results of this texas mile, very exciting stuff. Best of luck to you all!

Off topic. Brianbrave thanks a million for your help (top bloke) with the SL55 intake, i have organised to get this instaled on monday. You were right about my transmision leaking, it was all fixed under warranty however. I shall let you know what i think of the intake in due course. I also got darkest legal tint which i think has made a great difference cosmeticaly Cheers

I just hope you guys take LOTS AND LOTS of video. Even if some of it is just goofing around in the pits, I'd love to see some coverage.

Enjoy that bad boy! I see a pulley in your future.

Post some pics of your ride once you get it all set up.

I checked with TM folks and I did get my first choice "313" - Hey isn't today 3/13?

What type/size of material do you use? - I'm not sure "static" material will hold up to 3 days of runs.

E-Decals has some nice stuff but not sure I'll get them on time.

Thinking a 5.2" X 11.5" oval sticker - Black background with white numbers

They don't offer racing numbers like that online!

How many steaks would something like that cost me? (only in CA style)

Do they allow BBQ's at the mile or is that for after the races.
