Lower Grill Mod - Worth a 100th

Wink Lower Grill Mod - Worth a 100th

As many of you have done, I was going to cut the flaps off the back of our upper grill. When I started looking at the lower grills and thought, why not cut out those smaller cross sections. So far here is what it looks like........Has to be worth at least one hundredth of a sec .

Why did you stop there? Finish the job by doing the complete grille panels.

I'm going to finish the other grill tomorrow, step two maybe cutting all larger cross sections. This would leave the solid looking panels to the left and right. My concern with doing that is my larger HE will be exposed to debris during around town driving.

I cut mine out like yours also. A cheap slide out blade cutter like wall paper hangers use worked best for me. When the blade starts wearing down you just break off an inch. Wear leather gloves! Our lower bumper grills don't lay flat. The bumper has a slight angled point to the center. I then put my grills in a clamp lightly, copying the same angle that they mount. With a drill press and I think a 2 1/8 hole saw (Over a year ago) I drilled thru the grills. Super glued in a 2" non pressure black PVC drainage coupling from Lowes. Make the center of your hole line up with the towe hook on the passenger side. Then copy for the drivers side. Looks like brake air ducts. Painted to match the cars color. Squirrel Crusher

LOL...Thanks but don’t worry about the grill mod. If you win, I’ll say the mod hurt my performance and ask for another re-rematch after I get new grills. If I win, heck I just win but the one constant is, you lose ! J/K..LOL

My favorite way to watch this video is to view it full screen, not to see me catch you sleeping on the tree, but to be able to see the little “Win Light” come on at the end to verify that the might of that 181 pulley was unable to overtake the measly Code 3. LOL. Thank god this guy did not video the other times when you spanked me off the tree. That .003 was BRUTAL for me or even the time I ran a 13 because I did not heat up the DR’s enough and blw the tires up!!!!

or you can get a grille from a pacifica and cut ,grind, file, and more to get the bottom two rows of the grille the matches the crossfire
