Hey everyone, just happen to be cruisin google looking for fast coupes, came across the srt6 crossfire (crossfire?!)
so i did some research and fell in love with this sexy beast!

I'm just introducing myself and didn't really see an intro area, so i am postin up where the big boys hang. I'll be getting myself one of these someday.

I currently drive an 01 Audi TT 225Q with a little bit done to it. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3243695

used to have a celica, 3000gt, and some other stuff, but sold them all. so i'm mostly an import guy but if i had to go domestic i think this would be the route i'd take.

btw, my name is Cory and i live in Wilmington NC, anyone around this area?

North Carolina? Check out the "Tail of the Dragon" thread. We'll be in your hood soon.

P.S. You don't really have a domestic.

They mean the SRT was built in Germany, you can read all about it here on the forum. Welcome and enjoy learning about this great car.

Speaking of Audi TT's- I just attended the Philadelphia auto show and I have to say....the new Audi TT is one of the most beautiful cars at ANY price range!

ooo, didn't realize the srt's were german made... figures though. germans make the best stuff around imo.

and yeah the new audi TT's are really nice. i think they kinda ruined the nice style they had with the 1st gen TT, i think mine looks better than the 2nd (not to mention performs better). the new ones are too big.

By the way, the entire drivetrain and brakes are AMG. So you have the forged internals and all the fine quailities that makes an AMG. The prices out there are fantastic and you should be able to get one at an affordable price. Was $46k plus when released back in 2005. Best bang for the buck indeed. Welcome aboard!

the TT has all forged except for the rods... so sad, they'll break at 300wtq.

if only the trunk was bigger i'd get the crossfire in a second. haha
