Guys, we had some discussion a month or so ago about used SRT-6's. I don't know if anyone is still interested, but there are 4 coming through the auction next week. The bad news is that the average auction price has gone up a bit in the last month as dealers are adding inventory for spring.

Where are these auctions taking place? I wouldn't mind another one.

 

Two are in Florida, one is in Pennsylvania, and the other is in Michigan.

These are for sale by Chrysler Financial Services LLC, so they were more than likely lease returns. They are only available to dealers.

 

so if i go to my dealer and tell him i want one of these and want it for the auction price = what the dealer wants maybe (500.) and they said ok,, he would have it delevered to my dealer and then to me.

The in-service dates are as follows:

The two black vert's have in-service dates of 9/28, so you're getting 7 months on the warranty. I don't have the in-service on the coupes.

Obviously, I would like to buy it for the member, and be reimbursed $500 over buy price + expenses. If you want to use your own dealer then that's fine too, but I seriously doubt he'll be close to my price (I buy and sell cars as a side business). These cars should go very close to auction average, but you have to factor in buyers fees, shipping, etc. It will probably be around 1k over the prices listed. The buyers fee at an auction is usually around $350.

I think $500 finders fee is fair, and it will be considerably less than any "real" dealer.



EDIT: I think this may have come out wrong, but if you guys are comfortable with a dealer in your area, then you should definitely go there and let them know the price you'll pay and see if they can get it for you. I just doubt that they'll get close to what I can get them for. I have no overhead or "dealer markup".

Just in case you didn't know. This car, with no backseat, DOES NOT have rear a/c.....DUMB.

What ! You don't have the rear facing, flip up backseat? Better call the dealer! They put the spare tire under there!

IndyJoe...I was one of the guys that was asking you to be on the look out for a excellent SRT-6 coupe. Got my third SRT-6 three weeks ago at Cannon Auction in Georgia. A very nice Areo Blue Pearl 8,800 mile repo for $16,000. 3 month warrenty left. Only thing wrong with it is one nasty chip in the front wheel. As soon as I find a great buy for one wheel it'll look like it rolled off the assembley line. Thanks but I'm car broke for now...Squirrel Crusher.

 

Yeah, I'm sorry I didn't get back to you. There haven't been any that have been coming through, except for some that are either in poor condition and/or prior accidents. I just happened to look today, and saw 6 listed for next week!
