What has this car got to do with a construction company in Egypt?

The Crossfire would be a terrible electric platform. Heavy, cramped, and mostly just heavy.

just looked at the lotus. yep, definitely not a crossfire... still, i like the similar shape!
i figured since it was a dodge, they would re-use the platform. i guess not!

Looks like a somewhat mustang from the side and a somewhat viper from the front. Still looks nice. Squirrel Crusher

The Exfire chassis is not a good candidate for electric. This despite what Jay Leno has in his garage.

I know the guys in Washington DC think designing an electric car is as simple as putting an electric motor in an existing chassis and filling any empty space left with a battery. But to actually work the technology will need a whole new concept of drive line and chassis.

Think integrated motor&brake "in the wheels." Think small very powerful shallow charge ( and very evironmentaly unfriendly) lithium batteries and everything controled by a wireless, integrated computer system. All of it requireing a completly altered configuaration of the chasis because the function of the chassis will be radically different.

Anything else is a Prius.

Now just think about taking such a light and developed chassis and stuffing an internal combustion engine in there... and forced induction...

wait, my train of thought is going backwards isn't it?

It actually IS based off of the Tesla Roadster.

The Europa's wheel base is too long to be the EV. I saw this thing yesterday, very nice. Will post video this evening.
