If AMG Badging is crazy on an SRT6 why is pagani doing it?
Was watching TOP GEAR episode 34# with the Zonda Roadster F and they did a flash of the rear carbon panel low and behold an emblem we can all recognize ///AMG. Upon further digging thinking what the heck is going on turns out the new Zonda has the C12 engine made to be 7.3 liters and 602 hp in instead of the 408hp the whimpy 6 litre put out. THIS IS THE ONLY CASE AN AMG BADGE ON A NON MERCEDES IS PERMITTED lol this thing is a beast even worked the bugatti around the Top gear track.
simply beautiful

Im confused isn't our engines covered in amg logos. I don't think that pangani is putting the amg logo on the out side of there cars.
AMG Doesnt have to be for MB cars only.
"AMG" is an abbreviation which stands for: Hans Werner Aufrecht (A) and Erhard Melcher (M) who were partners, while Aufrecht’s birthplace of Großaspach (G) supplied the third letter in the company name.
Now days a AMG engine is a way of MB to say that the engine was put together by hand. Also AMG is mostly reserved for the performance department of MB

One does have to admit there is a huge difference in the beautiful aluminum AMG casting pictured and the cheezy plastic stick-on AMG emblems people are pasting all over thier fenders.

I like my stick on crap "V6 Kompressor" badge!! Very subtle and looks stock. Most people think it is factory badging. However, I agree that you must be very careful with the stick on badging, it can go wrong very quickly. Too much looks cheezy. I just did it to stir a little conversation and to tie the German origins to the car without explicitly referring to MB or AMG. I really don't like stick-ons, but I did this a bit hypocritically with the knowledge that I could remove them at any time. I like 'em though surprisingly.

Your car, you pay for it, do what you want. Do not have to look like every other joe:s car. Don"t have to run with the pack, Be a leader not a follower.
Obviously, I go along with Cgocifer and Texas t.

Nobody knows anything about these cars anyway, so why not have fun with it?
