Very nice install. Dont know that I like the LED display mounted into the dash, but it looks very good. Dont think I like the price too much either...that kind of turned me when I was looking for a detector. I agree, it is probably the best one out there for now.

I drive through VA all the time, already had 1 Radar detector taken and ticked just for having it there and wasn't even speeding. Not to mention the speeding tickets I have gotten since then bye not having a detector at all. So i figured it will pay for itself easy over time. Now don't get me wrong I'm not a super speed freak, I don't speed in school zones or zig zag through highway traffic or shoot down streets in residential areas, I don't run red lights and so on but i do like to drive offensively and the way cops are today not all but a lot there trying to make $$$$$ for the state and i would say 75% of the tickets they give out are not for safety but just to make bank or complete a quota. Every ticket i have ever gotten was on a highway with smooth traffic in an area where no problems or wrecks have happened and not on the same road each time either, but as soon as you get near a city or area with crazy traffic and dangerous situations there isn't a cop to be seen so it only shows me if the state (any state) would spend as much time and effort and $ in not catching speeders but in lets say catching criminals, drug dealers, murderers, rapists and so on it would make the city/town's much safer for everyone. But doing that cost the state more $$ with hardly any return. sorry didn't mean to get on that tangent. It wasn't directed at anyone here i promise. I just hate getting tickets for nothing dangerous or unlawful and paying the payroll of the judges and cops. I thought our taxes were supposed to

Oh, it's OK if you rant, everyone here does !

I know the police chief here in my little town quite well. In fact, he's co-owner of the garage where I get most of my work done on my cars.
Absolutely, speeding tickets are given out for the cash; that money goes directly into the city coffers. With budgets stretched as thin as they are we can all expect some increased "enforcement".

BTW, both Xfires have visited the limiter. It's a helluva ride !

after pulley install and before tune, mine did 0-160 in 9/10ths of a mile. Haven't tried it again since the LET tune, but had them set parameters to 190...need some straightaway time...

cant wate to get my tune but holding back till im able to get all the other upgrades i want so i can do it all at the same time. just bought a house with a garage so going to try and install all i can on my own but i have a very limited knowledge with mechanics so i hope thay give good instructions (with alot of pictures and arrows) and pos a tune from just telling them (them being TVT/LET or who ever i get to tune for me) what all iv upgraded and mailing my ecu to them so then i can drive up to witchever instead of towing it to them to get a compleat tune and thay can check my work. but still not sure just depends on how brave i am at the time i start all this. all i can say is i just did this simple intake mod and im so proud of myself i just want to do more and more hehe even though i know it was super easy

A stock SRT-6 is aerodynamically limited to about 174 mph at sea level. That number goes up if you're making more horsepower than stock, or if you are at higher altitudes.
