Default Supercharger not working

Hello was just driving the xfire the last couple of day's and now the supercharger works then it doesn't, the temp gauge is just above the mid point and after driving the car about 15 to 30 minutes it starts acting up, when it does it as if there is no power, and its still winter here so not that warm out, I still have warranty left, but don't want them to blow me off and say we could not duplicate the problem. I see in a lot of the post, you guy's keep refering to the inter-cooler pump being the problem not allowing clutch engagement, thus no charger, and no check engine light on yet, can anybody steer me in the right direction, as to what may be wrong?????

Yes, it is the IC pump. Mine/everyones acted the same way. Do a search and you will find countless threads about this known and common problem on the 6.

Youll find that you have the S/c till the intercooler heat soaks and the Inlet Air Temp (IAT) causes the self protect to kick in and kick out the s/c. Pump is a straight forward fix if you can get the tech to confirm the lack of pump opeation, Woody

if you're not throwing a code, it's definitely the I/C pump. it won't throw a code.

get the johnson CM30. now.

I just went through that in November and the dealer replaced the I/C pump and sensor. After the car heated up, the intercooler would kick off and the car would surge ahead (because the supercharger disconnected) and then when it cooled, it the s/c would kick back in causing the car to "hesitate" due to the load.

If you have plenty of power when the car is first started (and relatively cold), then your s/c is fine.

yup, would have to unfortunately agree.....gotta love the stock pump.

We actually have the Johnson pumps in stock, and its a pretty easy DIY.
