Default SRT-6 cheap-o Custom Exhaust?

I did the factory resonator delete a year ago. Disliked the drone and was to loud. After 2 days of that noise,I installed a slightly used Dodge Hemi Pick-Up Resonator. Sounds good but it shows from hanging down to low. Now I'm thinking of removing my rear cat's and replacing them with dual 17" stainless bullet shaped Hushpower II Resonators. Leading into a Magnaflow dual 2 1/2 Y-Pipe with a 3" exit to the factory muffler. Parts will be $246.85 thru Summit Racing. Think this will sound interestingly different? Squirrel Crusher

Sounds like a good way to go. I removed my rear cats and resonator last year and eventually will put on an aftermarket muffler. Can't wait to see your pictures when you post them up after your done installing them.

If you could get your resonator back on and delete the muffler you would be impressed and save weight as well.

NO DRONE, I have that on my challenger and can not get rid of it.

I wont delete the cats though, Woody

Lol I always like seeing your pet photos in your posts.

I may give that muffler delete a shot since you talk about it so much. My magnaflow is still just a little bit too quiet for me.

Being the engine eer I did the muffler as it was easy to take off, easy to replace if I wanted to. The exhaust has TO EXTEND OUT OF THE BACK A BIT TO KEEP THE PRESSURE WAVES FROM HOOKING INTO THE BODYWORK AND CREATING THE DRONE. I used a wye that was premade, cheap for the 4" ss polished pipe etc. Summit racing for the F350 diesel....

The tone is good, others have reported the sound as pleasing and I can talk in the car at normal tones without sounding like I am in a sports bar with all the background. and you can put it back on with a simple coupler if you wanna.

Gosh...No rear cat's or resonator. That's got to be L O U D !!! Just placed an order for a 185 pulley so I'll have to give the unnecessary car mod's funds account time to build back up for the exhaust mods. Squirrel Crusher
