I got owned by a bmw z8 with gears exhaust and a chip....pulled me like no other has and I have raced vipers and zo6's along with some pretty modded out amg v8's......this z8 got me out of a dig and took me from a 45 roll 2 different races and result still the same "I LOSE"......made me feel like I was standing still Also I got walked by a built wrx when I was stock!!!!

 

I like the idea of this thread.

I get challenged on the street a lot. It seems that a lot of the "young punks" think I'm an easy mark. I've spanked them all. The ones you've got to watch are the 40-somethings and 50-somethings. These guys usually know what they're doing and have a few mods under their hood rather than stickers or huge wings on their cars.

I've been spanked at the track many times though. Mustangs, a Corvette or two, but the one that hurt my feelings was a Ford Lightning truck running 12-something back when the best I could do was 13.3. Gee, I sure hope I see that truck this summer. I have a surprise for him.

with a stock 12.6 QM, and those mods, (especially on a V8) he's probably in the 11's on the street... quite a respectable 'Loss' my friend....

Yeah really! I had to look up a Z8. I had no idea what they were!

 

Ive only seen one Z8, and it was about 8 years ago, not even a half hour after reading about them in a magazine I saw one rolling and was blown away.

Sweet cars forsure, but I would pass on the price tag. If I recall there is a common issue with the aluminum frame or something on those.

 

i just remember the Z8 being a bond car. i don't remember it being that impressive just by looking at it, but apparently, it was! LOL

 

I dispatched a 350Z easy in stock trim...my only kill for now..I need a CD3 pulley now!

 

Never lost any races yet, but I'm sure it will happen, there is always someone faster! There are not alot of production cars that are under 70,000$, That will take a Modded SRT......

 

You might have seen this post where I got takin' by a turbo'd Honda Civic. At the time he was running 9lbs of boost. Soon they are gonna bump it up to 20lbs. I'm sure we will run again and they will post it on you tube. Haven't lost to anyone else.

You aren't kidding- last friday at the track there was a 50+ y/o guy with a late model 6.0 GTO- red, and clean as a whistle- looked stock. Under the hood he had a supercharger, cam, meth, and tune. After speaking with him for a few minutes he revealed that the car put down over 500hp at the rear wheels with only 8psi- SICK!

Unfortunately he couldn't drive it too well- only saw 13 flat in the 1/4 that night.

Speaking of losing- I went undefeated in my 5 runs at the track last friday but have been beaten several times previous. On the street- never, at least not yet. I've been taunted by anything between a 5.0 Mustang with huge slicks & pizza cutter front tires, and an exhaust that shakes the earth to a stock looking Mazdaspeed3.

 

Bah, we are faster for 1/5th the price.

 

I got beat by a 12.5 second 71' camaro. He tree'd me and I spun bad enough for the traction control to kick in, by then it was too late I flew by him standing still at the top end but was about 3' feet too late. 1st round I got by a 11.30 65' mustang. He caught me and let off and then got back in it, but I was a half car ahead and he couldn't reel me in. Don't be sandbagging a SRT6, we'll get you on the top.
