Default SRT5 or 08/07 limited?

So I have veen wanting a XF or awhile now and am going to test drive some Wend, but I was just wondering what all of you had to say?

I can get a 05 SRT-6 roadster with about 30K miles for ~$17000 or a brand new o8 limited roadster for ~$20000 with zero miles on it.

Is the SRT-6 worth it?

If you test drive the SRT6, it will be hard to buy one with 115 less horsepower.

wow, that was really biased. sorry. this car is a blast. with the SRT6, you're getting forged internals, and decades of AMG racing development under the hood.

i should probably ask, do you like to go fast?

if not, get the base model.

SRT-6 roadster's are rare, less than 1000 ever made. But then again if you get a brand new roadster with a full lifetime warranty, that is also hard to beat. Good luck with whatever you get.

I FIGURE IF YOU HAVE TO ASK TOTAL STRANGERS WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE, LEAVE THE CAR ON THE LOT FOR SOMEONE THAT NOT ONLY WOULD LOVE AND RESPECT IT, WOULDN'T DO A HACK JOB ON MODIFYING IT AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DESERVES A CROSSFIRE.

I own both and can say unbiasedly after driving the SRT-6 the Limited is a bore, even in Roadster trim. I wish we had gotten an SRT convertible.

SRT-6 forsure. It was a $52k car and I dont see it depreciating a whole lot more than that.

I actually think you came to the PERFECT website to ask the difference between the Limited and the SRT6 versions. Where else would be recommended, a mustang forum?????????????

I have never driven or ridden in any Crossfire except my SRT6 so I can't speak for the Limited, but, the SRT6 is the most fun car I have owned to date and at 33,000 miles it still runs and looks GREAT. It does have tight suspension though and gets criticism on the ride comfort. The Limited would be more tame and if PERFORMANCE isn't high on your list I would suggest taking them both out for a test drive.

I have a Limited and love it!!! I will however get an SRT Roadster in the very near future. Got the OK at the Dragon thanks to Jane, so I need to strike while the iron is hot!

You're lucky you didn't get banned from the site for that statement!
