I think they're trapping 111+mph off the showroom floor. Not bad for 31-35K (if you can avoid dealer mark-up). They are what the SRT Challenger SHOULD have been.

Uhh...did you read his first post? Or even his THREAD TITLE? That's magazine racing at it's finest.

Again. Read Jfire's post and ask yourself why you're in this thread. Thanks.

He's talking about beating full bolt on 370Z's that don't even exist yet, and telling everyone not to worry about anything.

Right. Just like there are more mid 11 second SRT-4's in my city than there are 11 second SRT-6's on the entire planet. Doesn't keep most of the members here from thinking like they drive a Ferrari that can't be mentioned in the same breth as a FWD "ricer tuner car!!111!oone!".

That's like starting a thread about how a Crossfire does against a Camaro, then have SRTpowa show up in his 10 second LS1 Z28.

Like I said, I'm be far more interested in a stock vs stock race.
i thought it was his friend comming out to see him, why would it matter how far he was driving? I am sure they are going to have fun.

What is the big deal if someone loses to a much faster car (10sec camaro vs crossfire as you put it) as long as they are out there having fun?

Of course a stock vs stock race would be great to see but jfire or the 370z are not stock so that is not going to happen. i still want to see the race, it will be fun regardless. that is the entire point, having fun is it not? i know some people take it so seriously that they no longer enjoy having a car or they will not even race they are so scared to lose. that is no fun at all.

jfire, be sure and post up the results. who ever wins we will just have to see. maybe you will launch bad and he will win, maybe not. post up the vid either way.

Yeah. I know. They make turbo kits too. The LS series of motors have the hugest aftermarkets on the planet.

There are just farrrrr more reliable and easy ways to get to the 10's with an LS3.

Lol, you are 100% wrong on that one

Again. Read Jfire's post and ask yourself why you're in this thread. Thanks.
because it is funny, your welcome.

370z's do exist, go check one out at your local nissan dealership!

Oh my goodness! that is incredible!
comments in red, wow you took a lot of time to do all that multi-quoting lol. no need to get so bent out of shape over pretend racing

Are you even reading this thread? Look what Jfire said in response to SRTPowa:

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/374832-post23.html

As if his race is going to settle anything. It's only going to prove that a full bolt on, tuned SRT-6 can beat an essentially stock 370. I was meerly asking what part of this debate is going to be settled? Uh, how about nothing at all.

Understand?

Yeah. That's what makes it imaginary bench racing. He's declared we have nothing to worry about without a single race. Hello?

Not full bolt on ones like he is insinuating won't touch us in a straight line. Again, reading is fundamental. I'm aware STOCK 370's exist. I love to check out the competition, so I've actually DRIVEN one. Same with the Hyundai Genesis 3.8.

I knew you'd have trouble wrapping your brain around it. Unbelieveably, the SRT-6 is NOT the fastest car ever produced. There are some formidable FWD opponents out there for far less than the 45K that the SRT-6 cost, AND there isn't a Santa Claus. I'll post the suicide hotline for you, if you'd like.

There may be tons of cars that would drag your SRT-6 up and down the track, but I don't think anyone can back peddle as fast as you. Bravo.

Machine!! What UP??? Your dealing with the Photoman!!

That's like trying to discuss the benefits of the Pythagorean Theorem with a ten-year-old that's stricken with Down Syndrome.

No matter how many times you repeat the lesson.....

lol, where have i ever backpedaled in this thread? yet another exaggeration. Come on now man, it is only bench racing. I know you live your life an imaginary 1/4 mile at a time and all but wow.

I will pretend race some more later, i am leaving work and off to go ride my bike. Heck i may even get into an imaginary race or two while grabbing a coke at the local 7-11.

Just remember: When you get to the 7-11 on your bike, because you don't see a McLaren F1 there, your bike MUST be faster. The fact that there isn't a McLaren in your city is just a ricer excuse. You're there, he isn't. That means you won and your bike is faster. Those are the facts.

Rock on.

lol that may be how you live your life man but I really do not think most people feel that way.

What mods do you have planned for your bench this summer? I bet that thing is a beast.

I'm going to do what you do. I'm going to go to the track, get the best time I can get with slicks. I'm hiring Cruzinquick to come in and drive for me.

Once I get that low time, I'm going to post it in my signature and completely stop racing anyone.

Then, I'm going to the track. I'm going to stand at the end of the strip, and ANY car (TT Z06, Viper, dragster) that runs slower for ANY reason (misshift, wheel spin, stall, mechanical issues) I'm going to jump on their hood and say MRPHOTOMAN SAID I HAVE A FASTER CAR THAN YOU!!! I LIVE IN A VACCUM!!! QUIT MAKING EXCUSES RICER!!!

Yes, I sold it to Eric. I was spending a bit too much time and money on the car and it would take a lot more to get it where I wanted it to be. Honestly I wasn't planning on getting another car for a while, still morning my my loss(SRT6) but this Camaro was brought my attention the other day and will be a lot easier on my finances compared to the SRT. I am going to look at it tonight. With over 20k in mods he is practically giving it away for the price of a stock Camaro. I might trade him my bike or quad + cash if we can work out a deal. If not, I'll save my money and wait.
It was hard for me to give up the SRT6 but she is in good hands and I know Eric will take good care of her.
