Anybody ever thought of doing this to our SRT's for cooling? Sounds like might be neat idea!

Tanks: take a walk through your local salvage yard (if they will let you) look under as many hoods as you can to get an idea whats out there. The oldest vehicles have some of the better shaped tanks. Look for one that may fit the void you want to stuff it in. Having a measuring tape with you mat be helpful. When you find one, inspect it for crazing (fine cracks but not broken through) If there is excessive crazing don't get it it will break easily. Look for signs of UV degradation as this type of plastic doesn't like sunlight. Milk white, barely translucent, with a semi gloss skin is good but grayish white with a matt finish is bad, don't use the later. Any tank that may have sloshing fluids should have as much support as possible. My tank is a two gallon and came out from under the hood of a late eighties chevy pickup. It now resides in the left well under the hatch deck floor, The battery is on the right. the pump is next to the tank. Hose routes to the right then forward. Good Luck!

Here are a couple of pics of my setup........I have the AEM kit with a dual nozzle setup that runs into each intake manifold. Rob from Needswings did an excellent job with this little project of mine. I am really happy with the way it turned out! Now I just need the car tuned to run with the added water/meth. BTW, I do run a 50/50 mix of straight meth/alky and water.

Installed in car......

Tank mounted in trunk....

In my opinion thoes injectors are at the correct spot if not ideal. Should never be in the s/c or before the i/c or the benefits are lost.Woody well done all.

in all technicality in meth setups it should be about 8-10 inches from the TB. so this looks like a nice setup.

in my Neon i had it right before my temp sensor so it would increase my timing also.

Do you think moving the IAC sensor into the manifold (like BDJ did) would yield a better result since it would register the cooling effect of the meth?

again not sure how these cars would respond but in all reality the meth would trick the comap to to think the intake temps are a lot cooler than they really are thus giving you more timing. with a 50/50 mixture it seems to be safe... with a pure meth mix it would cool just fine but throw your a/f's off becasue the increase in fuel. D/I water is the best for the cooling effect youre looking for thus a lot of people run a 50/50 mix...

for the best COOLING affects minimal meth is needed... like the mixture of a clean bottle of wiper fluid.

to add more ummpf for lack of better words a meth mixture would be nice because of its burning properties.
