Ok, after doing some reading, I am in full acceptance that i can't use my magnaflow system from my N/A roadster on my SRT roadster. I am wondering if I could use the dual mufflers from the kit, though.

I loved the sound of the magnaflow on my past xfire (could have done with a bit less drone) and the look of the dual oval tips.

I'm not looking for a performance gain, but really don't want to hurt performance either, just want the sound and the look. If I remove the factory srt muffler, leave the resonator and just 'Y' out and run it through the two magnaflow side by side mufflers do you think I would get the same sound I had (with a bit less drone) and not hurt performance? Surely two 2.25" mufflers will flow as much as a single 2.75", right?

 

I believe it would work great, not hurt performance and maybe gain just a few HP. Just take the Magnaflow to a good muffler shop that does custom work and just tell him to make it happen. It would be a piece of cake for any competetent shop. You could keep the stock resonator which could help with the drone and just replace the muffler.

 

... then sell the pipes for someone to use with their <insert favorite> muffler.
