Just mark the unknowns as being the "yucky yellow".

tighed1,
Just mark the unknowns as being the "yucky yellow".
Hey!

What the heck do you mean "yucky yellow"?

...more fun with numbers.

Assuming that the sample size is an accurate proportion of colors and the totals for the coupe and roadster are correct. We can assume the following (this is after subtracting the 13 'unkown')

Coupe: 2016
Black: 575
Aero Blue: 539
Graphite Gray: 454
Sapphire Silver Blue: 448

Roadsters: 928
Black: 340
Sapphire Silver Blue: 209
Aero Blue: 196
Graphite Gray: 183

EXAMPLE: Black Coupe: 266/[(945-13)/2016]

That should give everyone a rough estimate of how many were made in each color. Again, that is assuming there is a correct proportion of colors in our database. Which given probability...there is.

My $.02

Tisk Tisk Tisk- Everything you needed to learn was taught in Kindergarten, play nice tighed1.

I will say that I saw a local yellow that was not kept up and it looked "yucky" something between dry mustard and old margarine.
Any of us with Classic Yellow Roadsters would be glad to have you over and show you these great looking XF up close. It's kind of like that romance where you can't explain it but your completely consumed when your near, keep staring and can't keep your hands off
