AZ people
I'll be heading out around 8 or 9 AM unless I have too much fun tonight. It's supposed to be 110-111 and more by the river so I want to go early as reasonable to get by the worst part of the day AND THE WIND/SAND STORMS!
PM me and I'll give you my cell phone. Also let me know where you're at.
Cheers!
Mike

The largest advantage of autostick is two fold
1) Taking off at a light in 1st. The tanny will shift by itself
from first to second and second to third. By that time you
have already blown their doors off.
2) I find the best downshifting. Great for corning and pulling up
to someone rolling.
Downshifting is easy, car will only downshift to gear/RPM safety.
You can hold to left and it will find correct gear.
Upshift a little trickier. It is a slight tap/flinch to right. Correct upshifts
take a bit to master.
BTW - Evan, wasn't me. I have seen another Aero Blue Roadster on 51 going north
a couple of times. I don't make it up the way to often. Will be heading up to
20th st and Union hills tomorrow though.

Well I got my car this weekend and boy am I happy!
I left for LA on Sunday morning and stopped to see Cruisinquick and his car. We went for a ride and his car is REALLT fast. Pulled out of the parking lot almost sideways and did a short run down the freeway. What a difference from my stock ride. Put a big ol' grin on my face right away.
So from my house on the east side of Phoenix I had to go thru Scottsdale where they have those wonderful photo radars. All the way through Phoenix to the county line headed west there were photo radars all the way. The last, by the county line was at mile amrker 85. That was ONE HUNDRED miles of photo radar!
Finally found an open spot and eased up to 110 where i floored it for WOT. Pushed me back into the seat and screamed right up to 130 when my brain started screaming "What are you doing?" so I backed it down to 85. The track is where I should do those kind of speeds.
It hit 114 just into CA by Ford dry lake at about 11:30 in the morning. I thought that would be the top but it hit 117 at Palm Springs around 12:30, right at the windmill farms. The temp guage never went above a blade width north of half way.
After riding in Cruisinquicks ride I am going to visit Rob at Needswings and start with the dual CAI. After that I'll do the pulley swap and ECU tune and start screaming around like Cruisinquick.
Cheers!
