Central locking & ESP
Hey guys I just got my SRT and I'm having a few problems, the central locking doesn't work, is the central locking unit at the back in the trunk? also when I'm driving its awsome but then power cuts down for ages then after awhile power kicks back in, the water pump fuse is fine but it's not showing any sign of power ( I tried it with my fuse tester) could the water pump be cutting my power?
I can't help you with the power issue, the locks I can. They work on a pneumatic system. If a line breaks or gets a small hole in it your locks are affected. My hatch lock went out a few years ago and the dealer fixed it under warranty. The entire lock system is pneumatic. There was a repair kit available, you can have the dealer do it, maybe even a TSB on it. If you are handy and patient you may have a go at it yourself. Problem is finding where the line is broken. You should be able to hearthe air hiss through it, where as when its not broken you don't hear anything. Hope this get's you aimed in the right direction.

I don't think you are going to see voltage at fuse 13 until the pump circuit is on. If you jumper a hot wire to this side of fuse 13's connection your pump will be on as long as the key is in the ON/RUN position.
Kinda hard to tell when the pump is running. Gotta listen real hard.

Thanks guys I'll try see if theres a leak in the central locking, tighed1 do you think that IF my water pump has failed it could be the reason for the loss of power I receive at random times?
