srt6 vs. shelby gt500
I never ran a GT500 but I race a Mustang with a roush 427 R and I beat him really bad. But my car isn't stock. In all fairness though the mustang sounded awsome but just couldn't launch.
give the right circumstances, driver, slicks, tune....a Twang could be competition...but not stock...but, remember, they have us out horsed in most cases from the get go...they just can't "get" goin'....

+1 H.K.!!!! I have killed all three I have encountered. One was modified, and almost got me.

Depends on driver of both cars. I drove a friends on the way to Famoso. His had a tune,sc pulley, exhaust, and CAI. He told me to jump on it good. Which I gladly did. Just with those mods that car is easily a low 11 sec car. With slicks and the proper rear end stiffened maybe 10's. It was way, way faster than my car and I ran 11.89 that weekend. He took his E55 to the track not the GT500. Otherwise I would have put that thing down the track.
Stock for Stock dead even with equal drivers. Both with drag radials the GT500 wins.
Both highly modded not even close. The GT500 will eat the 6 for lunch.
Most owners have no clue how to drive a torque monster. Find one that does and watch out.

Seriously, if we're keeping up with a GT500 from a roll, we can't be doing too bad. Our lighter cars seem to have a bigger advantage from a dig, despite the lack of a limited slip diff.
