Is there a difference in these two wrap kits
and do they replace any of the pulleys and include a new
belt?also my mechanic says he can remove the pulley and just replace
the bearings for $20 has anybody tried that?

 

I dont know about the C3 belt wrap kit. NW pulley saver includes three new pulleys, new longer belt, bracket and spacers for mounting pulleys and the bolts. Check their web site or the thread here for pics. I have it on the Aero and am very pleased with it.

 

if you are running a c3 pulley you need a c3 wrap or tigheds diy wrap. i have been in contact with rob in detail about his pulley saver for my c3 setup and as it stands it doesnt appear to work. he is researching the feasibilty of a pulley saver for the c3.
the main diff is the c3 is strictly a wrap to keep the s/c pulley from slipping.
robs setup is larger pulleys to offset the crank pulley spinning everything faster and the wrap is a byproduct of the pulley and belt alignment if you look at the fotos of the pulley saver the pulley next to the s/c pulley is relocted underneath the s/c pulley and is larger.
there wouldnt be much benefit to slowing down the acc. pulleys with the c3 because the crank turns at oem speeds
the best thing for now may be to wait to see what needswings comes up with for us c3 guys
