Default took the srt6 to its first drags.

first pass was 14.0 @ 103, 2.5 60'
spun way bad.

air down tires and
second was 13.8 @ 98, 2.1 60'
i think she let off just before the traps.

her only mod is a nw cai, i figure this is about right, my srt8 ran 13.5 tonight which its avg run here. DA tonight was 6500', i ran my srt8 in ennis and ran 12.7 with a 400' DA so i figure hers is on par for the rest of the srt6's in better air.

do the sprint boosters really improve shifting because i could take a nap between shifts on her car?

Those are great times in that DA. I'm heavily modded and was barely getting 13.1's in 8000' DA last year at a race. My best with just the NW intake was 12.7's with DA around 2500', so if you get 400'DA you will do alot better than your SRT8. I hear great things about Ennis. What month was it when your were getting that DA? I'd love to get some of that.

I don't have a sprint booster. So can't help you there. Some here swear by them. If your plans are to keep modding then don't bother with it. You'll have more power than you need for the street. Did you put the car in 1 and not D for your runs? Also did you turn off Traction Control? With it in manual mode, it has pretty quick shifts. Just click on one of my vids to see. Glad to see another 6 at the track.

all runs were tc off and launch in 1st and letting it shift itself.

it will get modded quite a bit, its her race/cruise toy. when we get the tune done im sure it will be based on race gas.

as for ennis i think it was around october last year. ive seen a negative DA at ennis there aswell but i wasnt racing,

I ran my compltely stock and ended up getting 13.12 @ 107.48 as my best stock time in about 3500' DA (thanks doc).

I am looking forward to getting my car back out to the track soon. Hopefully in a few weeks. Will hopefully run low low 12s...

p.s. I am not stock anymore, at all.

The trick to these cars is to get your launch down. My tune is set up for 100 race gas. Which track do you normally run at? I thought the negative DA was ennis.

Sprint booster won't help with the shifting, but a tune will. Get a pulley, seperate your IC, and upgrade your HE and that should help. Definitely work on that launch because those times are terrible. I was able to pull consistent 1.9 60' with warn out all season Conti's all day.

i cant even 1.9 in my srt8 here and im on drag radials, i 1.8 at a good prepped track. the track has alot to do with the bad 60', not to mention the DA. ive had better launches on the street.
