Hey all, the track event I'm heading to on the weekend may have a intake/exhaust ,modded 370z coming...I was having a chat with him on another forum.
I'll keep you posted if he shows up, should be fun-settle some issues once and for all maybe!

actually I'm CAI and code 3 pulley. Oh and sprint booster and discitalia brakes.
Should still be a reasonable contest though. with a CAI and exhaust they are pretty nimble.

 

are you running 1/4 mile or top end? i ran a 370z on top end and it was no contest. i was a full 4 cars lengths by 130 mph and still pulling away

 

actually it's a race track day. I assume if the group is small enough we will get a chance to go off the line though.

 

SRT-6's are damn fast! but if its on a track I think the 370z might just have you!

 

They are mid 13 second cars. a few have gotten into the 12's stock just like the srt-6... on the roadcourse they are very solid. Should be interesting

 

I doubt there's any chance of beating him on a track. z pulls 9.7gs, we pull 9.1. They also have proper steering!
Just curious about the straight line speed.

 

if the srt-6 had 9.1 G's of grip i would be able to take a 90 degree turn at 100mph without slowing down. Lol

 

That would be so awesome...but would something about the suspension setup would make it a terrible daily driver...

You'll beat him sraight line! I've raced one and beat him by about 1 1/2 car legnths from 0 to about 170 - 180kms!!! Loved the look on his face..and the smile on his GFs face (aimed at me of course lol)
