Default Axle & Rear Strength

I was curious if anyone has broken anything while running them at the track? With all the track experiences with these cars (& 32's), do we have need for caution while launching? My local 1/8 mile strips advertise axle breaking results for their track prep, so I was just looking for opinions and experiences?

IMO you have nothing to worry about. Cruzinquick bracket races his on a regular basis and hasn't had an issue that im aware of and he is one of the fastest out there so you know he has a lot of hard launches on that thing.

There is really nothing in the rear to break it is a open differential with pretty heavy duty spider gears

i have only seen one car here that has a possible rear issue and cant find his name. he was bracket racing and heard some grinding in the rear. i feel the weakest link you find is the carrier bearing in the driveline.

I could be wrong but I am under the impression that the SRT has a C class rear end which is stronger than the slk's?
I just added this through the edit option...
I mistook the 32 as a SLK sorry...

It may be possible to twist one but breaking an axle probably is not going to happen regardless how good the track prep is. The strongest E55's barely twist them and they are pushing alot more power than we are.

If anyone was going to break them it would have been MDSRT6 with his 10 second passes. If they hold up to that, then numerous 12 sec passes aren't going to hurt them. As Distantpulse said I have lost count on the number of passes I've made and 95% with drag radials and mine are still fine. It's probably somewhere nearing 400. At some point something will give, but that's the price of playing.
