I thought I read that he also swapped out the SRT seats, stereo and the kick plates.... no big deal... it just dosent read as honest to me, knowing what has been removed.... I hope whoever buys it gets a great deal and has no trouble with it....
This stripped out piece of crap quailifies as SALVAGE through and true. No other way to look at it. Anyone fooled into buying it as is would have an excellent case of fraud, or at the very least "lemon law" on their side once they find out the truth about the car. The original owner may have been going for a particular look, but suspect he was going broke, and needed the funds from the strip and exchange of parts that went on. This car has logged more miles on the back of a transporter than on the road, and that is a good thing...move on and don't buy this car unless you are looking for parts.
As for sleepers, well, guys, we are the only ones that know about these cars, so it is only a sleeper to us. The general public doesn't know one from the other...I haven't one person outside of this forum or the club that new they even made an SRT. They are just XF's to them. But, that is what makes them special SRT or not...no one really knows.... But would anyone want to be fooled into buying a car that has had this many changes done, without knowing whether they were done correctly or not. We all know that little wing better deploy, and those little brakes better hold. I just hate dealers that want to fraud the public. The BLACK HACK Edition for sure....
