Now that would be fun. It is going to be hard enough driving from North of Atlanta back to Warner Robins without getting thrown under the jail. I don't think that the State Troopers are going to be as impressed with my new tune as I am. haha! Ohhh.... and if you think of it, give me a shout and let me know how you do at the track in Fla. I can't wait to see how much those MT ETs are going to help your launches.

32 - since we dyno'ed almost exactly the same stock, this will be a good measure of our mods... being on the same dyno, the same day is a bonus!

I'm getting really excited now, if you can't tell. Good thing our drag strip only closes for 1.5 months... lol The end of January, Bob and I will be out grudge matching... and this time we need to bring a spectator w/ a video cam at least!

Guess the Benz guys (besides a couple of us) don't mod cars...

 

Maybe the SLK guys...but the other MB lines (W211, R230, W203, etc) have extensively modified their engines and run them a good bit. There is a SL65 with about 1000ft/lb of torque on it, one or two E55 in the 10s off the bottle, multiple E55s in the 10s on the bottle. And the 600/65 guys are going crazy. There are some quite fast 600/65 guys. The Eurocharged SL65 is set to break the R230 record on 12/5... They've got the bug as bad as we do...haha.

 

im very excited to see so many from here getting the tune. should be a great day!. dynos should be close. my intake mods are a little different, but im sure we will be close.

as for the mb guys it seems to me the only ones who dont mod are the slk32 bunch! the c32/c55 are modding maniacs as are the e55 and sl class fellows. there really isnt a place that slk32 folks get together except the srt-6 forum. look at the mbworld.org for the modding guys

 

Someone/Business contacted me yesterday spouting about being the Alabama Eurocharged/LET dealer. They are D&D Performance in Birmingham and I am awaiting an address or website confirmation. Maybe someone here has more information, but I will provide as I get. Just wanting to inform

 

We have 2 dyno spots left and getting inquires all the time so if you want in please jump on it quick.

We will be flashing also so if you dont want to get on the dyno thats fine you can get the base flash done.

xray i dont think it matters timewise if its a new tune or retune. tony has your spot and the dyno time needed to make the needed ecu tunes.
