Hi - a friend of mine is looking at this Black 2005 Crossfire Roadster SRT-6 here in Sydney, Australia - it has around 18,000 miles on it.
I'm familiar with the things to look for on the standard coupe but can someone point out the key things to keep an eye out for in the SRT Roadsters?
Of course I'll be extremely jealous if they do get it!

 

cracks on the posts where the spoiler attaches to the body, scuffs on the inside of the convertible top

 

things to look for on a srt-6 would be i/c pump failures, bad a arm bushings, valero radiaitor wobbly crank pulley.

 

Also check the convertible top for any separation. Go over the entire edge of the rear window by using anything flat. A credit card will do the trick since it's rigid enough

 

yes, the rear glass as gator stated, make sure top raises and lowers without any problems...the rest is typical XF problems

 

Motor mounts, s/c pulley, rocker cover oil leaks, wear of front tires, altenator, battery, headlight plastic covers............ let me think out it some more.

 

Lower door rust behind weather stripping...same with all crossfires
