i'm thinking of getting a sprint booster for my 6 and this particular model has 3 modes you can remotely set. disable, sport and race. has anyone tried this model and can offer any comments.

 

interesting, I hadn't heard about it...I have one on the 'vert, but I don't think I will go that route with the coupe. I am going to see if the tuners can overcome the lag this time...more info would be grt...if you have it...

Wow.... a new version of the SB. I like the idea of selectable programming. When did this change come out?

 

The 3 mode one isn't available yet for our cars, but they "will send me one when it is released". The place I work at started getting them, and another employee had nothing but problems with the 3 mode one (BMW 3 series, he sent it back twice and it still didn't work.). I should be one of the first people to get a selectable one, so hopefully mine will work.

Hey, that new 3 mode sprint booster is on eBay, for a Buy-It-Now price of $329.00. If you go to eBay, search Chrysler Crossfire, and you will get it.

 

He had 3 different ones and none of the 3 seemed to make a difference on any mode. The car ran and drove fine, but there was no difference in the pedal's behavior.

They told me it wasn't out yet a few weeks ago, and the owner of the store has been talking to them . Maybe they just wanted me to help them get rid of the regular ones they had laying around .

I tested the velocity booster with multiple settings and it does not seem to work yet. I got codes after 1 second of WOT. Still testing it and it was for BMW's so be cautious. WOODU
