I'm driving home with my daughter in her SRT. My SRT is at the dealer. She has to go to track practice, so I am doing my best to get through traffic. I am about 5 blocks from my gated community and give AMX Jim a call. Why? Because earlier in the day he had a strange noise coming from his engine and I wanted to know if he found out what the problem was...super charger, bearing or whatever. He said no he had not yet found out what the issue was and he asked me to put the cell phone under the steering wheel and stomp on it.

Well....................... I did............. Just foe a second. I put my blinker on to turn into my complex and FRACK................WOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOO ......... OH chit. My daughter sez great, I guess I won't make track practice. I pulled into the complex, stopped, opened the lambo doors and got out to plead my case........ opps...... He gets on the speaker and tells me to get back in the car and close the door....... Great, I'm thinking I am F...ed now. He comes up to the car and I immediately told him why I did what I did and it was just for a second.......... He sez," so I should blame this on your friend". I said well yea, it is his fault. That went over well.

LICENSE, REGISTRATION AND PROOF OF INSURANCE PLEASE.


I was thinking all kinds of name calling, medical terms colorful mediphors and down and out cussing.


I called Jim and told him this was his fault. LOL and he would have to pay for this ticket. lol

Not looking good. Ten minutes he gets out of his car... AND

And the comment, I'll let you off this time, but I will be watching for your car. I told my daughter that she better drive real slow. LOL Thanks a lot dad. Her SRT has the red accents and red rims. OPPs

 

I only get pulled over in the Crossfire. It just happened to me last weekend.... no ticket. It is a curse... they don't like our cars.

 

It is that lovely whine sound of the supercharger with the Needwings CAI. LOL

ps I am sure if you go to the Corvette, Mustang or nissan forum they say the same thing.

dang, I guess I will just park mine, and not risk it......and I have to work tonight....well, with 7" of fresh snow on the ground along with some 40 mph wind last night...I had better drive the jeep to work...maybe they won't stop me....Randy, they have to know you by now, by first name....you have donated to the policemen's ball on several occassions....Rudy, still blames me for his citation as well....he got one while we were talkin' and I did hear his gettin' it...but he wouldn't hand the phone to that officer...chicken...lol
