Seriously though I wouldn't hesitate to attend a 6 meet with you guys so long as I was even welcome!
I don't have a problem with an ex crossfire owner joining up. Come on out and I'll buy you a beer.

As I like to tell the owner of our local dealership, if you aren't going to pay me to advertise for you....get rid of the plate...in your case, the front plate...other than that, I like it...you should see me at the dealership, w/ my screw driver, taking off their cheap plastic advertisement, and peeling off the stickers right there in front of them...now when I buy something, there isn't anything depicting the dealership....Kevin, the owner, just laughs....no sponsor money, no advertising....lol

Man that thing looks AWSOME! the SRT-6 is a hell of a sexy car but in the looks depratment your still right there. Congrats on the new ride.

We have those in Australia but not in the SRT-4 version, my fiance' was going to buy one but ended up with a Crossfire convertible, damn if we had the SRT-4 she'd be all over it.

+ 1 with Doc, screw giving them advertising. take it off haha

As a 23 year employee of the factory that built all the srt 4's i would like to say thanks and congrats on the new car.I hope you really enjoy it.I had a neon srt4 with a stage 3 kit on it and that car was scary fast. The aftermarket for performance parts has really picked up for the caliber srt so im sure you are gonna have alot of fun this summer. If ya ever need any mopar parts drop me a pm and i will hook ya up with a pretty good deal.

I am thinking about going over to the dealership and see if I can have a chat with them to get the dual intake from them for the stock airbox and a bit of cash... seems fair to me.

for some strange reason, the caliber srt-4 was knocked around. i test drove one and really liked it...for what it is. if i didn't have a 4runner and a tacoma, i'd have considered it. best of luck to you.

lol, oh I TOTALLY agree! I peeled off the dealer sticker the first night. I just never got around to removing the paper advertising plate and plate frames before the pictures!

I especially like them with it lowered:

I didn't realize the SRT4 wasn't available in OZ. The european spec SRT4s come with roof-mounted shorty antennas, folding/heated side mirrors, and illuminated side markers. Ironic being an American car the US gets the short end of the stick. lol

Wow- that's awesome- my pleasure...thank YOU!

Yeah the NSRT4s have a very healthy aftermarket- Rob (Needswings) mentioned getting one into the 12's with only $800 in mods. Pretty remarkable considering it's a relatively cheap car to begin with.

So far I'm very happy with the car and have been researching potential mod paths to take. I really like the Mopar parts but they are a bit on the expensive side. If there is anything you can do I'd greatly GREATLY appreciated it. I'll be following up this post with a PM. Thank you kindly!

Drove one of those Calibers as a rental 6 months ago. Not the SRT 4! It was probably the lowest model available and it was the worst car I ever drove on the highway. Very hilly interstate roads in New Mexico and I would have to floor it and the car just wouldn't move up an incline. Got me around town very well.... just terrible on the interstate doing 65 MPH. It just didn't want to move at all....

Yeah- the base and the SRT are quite different in many ways. With 289hp stock I don't think it'll have any problems driving through hilly interstate roads.

You will have no problem at all! I am not familiar with the car... other than the base model that I drove.

Oh no only a Camaro deserves the SS moniker. Now the market is wide open for them, long tube headers and exhaust is getting them in the 11's, without a tune. I'll probably go this weekend and test drive it. I kind of miss this sound

Did someone say turbo?

Lingenfelter Camaro SS Twin Turbo - Supercars.net

800bhp. ick.

EDIT: I know Lingenfelter makes a twin turbo setup...but the pictures on the link look like a S/C Camaro SS...
