Default Fun times

Well I finally got everything in for a proper brake job. When 32Krazy and I did my oil change he noticed that the rears needed pads and rotors, so I went out bought new rotors, and pads all around. Since we're in the area we discussed other things like ss brake lines and better brake fluid. After all of my research this is what I ended up with.
Akebono UltraPremium dustless pads all around
OEM Rear Rotors from Parts.com
Stop Tech Sportstop Stainless Steel Brake Lines (all around)
Ate Super Blue Racing brake fluid
I look forward to getting with 32Krazy and working on the car again. Maybe JHM2K will stop by as well. This time I don't think we'll end up at Lowes looking for crush washers lol.

Were the Stop Tech ss brake lines close to an exact fit? Do you have any part numbers? I assume these would also fit the n/a?

Looks great man! I'm sure you'll notice a difference in stopping.

I'd swing by, but I'll be out of town @ the shooting range with my Glock...

Thirteendog,
You have enough brake fluid to do at least three brake system purges... I did the same as you and bought several cans since I have two cars to do. Less than one can for the Aero when I changed the rotors, pads and lines.... I guess you can never have too much, but I am set for the next 3 or 4 years if I change every year.....

I wasn't 100% sure how much I would need, and since you can't find the kind of fluid I wanted to use locally, I made sure I had plenty lol... It's sealed up in a can so it shouldn't go bad.
