To sell or not to sell ? That is the question
I have an immaculate 2005 SRT6 convertible SSB with only 2200 miles on it. Was just offered 27.500 for it. Is that reasonable or should I hold on to it, keep it stored in my garage and hope that one day it will be a collectors item, in due time ........

Why not just drive it & enjoy it.....you're not going to live forever!!!!
I wonder what it would go for at one of those big time auctions??

It depends on whether it is just a car to you or an immaculate, low mileage, somewhat rare AMG-built supercharged sports car. If the former, go for the profit. If the latter, what difference does it make if they offer $14k or $27k -- keep it. Unless you really need the money, I vote to keep it and enjoy it. Of course, I'm biased towards XFs and would add another if the right color SRT6 roadster came along.
A lot, for me, would depend on what I paid for it. How long have you had it? Are you making money or losing money? Either way, it's a great offer.
ok, we are one year later .. decided to hold on to my beauty (as I don't need the $). Have now about 3300 mls on the clock and still love the car as is in immeculate condition. All I need is a new passenger headlight as that became very clouded while in teh garage over the winter. if anyone has one, send me a note.
Cheers and happy spring to all

You dont have to replace that headlight.... just get one of the restoration kits and spend some time with your car......a little bonding goes a long ways..
it should look like new when you're done..
