Methanol Mixed with Fuel???
I have a 5 gallon drum of methanol that is half empty (from when I had the water/meth kit) my question is I have around 2.5 gallons of methanol left in the drum can I mix it with 93 octane fuel? then put it in my car? Ive read alot of mixed theories on the internet saying it can corrode engine internals but I only plan on doing this once. ( I feel bad tipping out the methanol
) I read that methanol is around 130 octane so maybe it'l be the same affect as adding octane boost?
Any ideas or responses would be great!
Thanks guys

But I would like to know how the Water/Meth injection kit workout for you?
To be honest with you Brian it did absoultly nothing for me if anything it slowed my car down. But in fairness my car didn't have a tune when I had the water/meth. Members such as mrphotoman have see terrific results with it. It's probably something I wouldn't try again though.
Meth is good for cooling the motor to allow high temp/pressure operation w/o detonation. But the alcohol will displace / replace the fuel and reduce the BHP. Your warming air to produce torque in the motor, and you want the most heat within parameters for max hp and lifespan.
Water injection does pretty much the same thing, costs less and is reasonably acceptable. War planes did it but needed the alcohol to act as antifreeze due to the low temp operation at altitude, bad day to go to war power setting and have to wait for the water to melt.
If you can carry nuff alcohol, you could use it instead of gas, just have to burn like twice the amount of fuel to get the same effect. Twice the fuel will help cool the motor and make it easier to run with out scorching the pistons/valves

Thanks guys, seems like It will work but I think i might just put it in my dads car, just a stock normal car. Love the crossfire to much to wreck engine internals.
Have fun at the b'day woody have a safe trip.
