Default Any SRT6s in Phx area?

Beside Evan's (cruzinquick), are there any SRT6's in phoenix/phoenix area? I went to the local car show at the pavillions (which is actually a rather large show every saturday night) and there was a red srt6 there. it had a carbon fiber spoiler thing in the back and aftermarket rims.

the hood was only slightly popped. i couldnt see what pulley setup he had (i didn't bring a flashlight) but noticed he had an aftermarket intake of some sort (not needswings and not sl55). could have been a DIY intake. also couldnt help but see the lambo doors and red neons in the engine bay....car may have had red underglow as well....i don't recall.....not a fan of those last two/three things, but never seen it out here. just wondering if it belongs to a member on the forum.

Are you sure it was not a Limited with an SRT wing on it. They did not make any red SRTs.

I think he's thinking of the member tburris...

He has all of the modifications listed (Lambo doors, aftermarket wheels, underbody neons, engine bay neons, carbon covered rear limited spoiler) but it's definitely an N/A. I think he's running the SLK320 intake.

Pretty sure this is who you saw...

it was an off red. more like a maroon or burgundy or something. i'm bad with colors lol. and no i didn't leave a note. i just happened to walk buy and see it....the lambo doors and underglow repelled me away from getting too close to it

it could have been a limited. i'm not a crossfire owner so i assumed it was an srt6 when i saw it all tricked out with mods (it also had a magnaflow exhaust IIRC).

that would explain it then. i think he also has a magnflow exhaust. i've never seen an slk320 intake, but i suppose that could be why i didn't recognize the intake.

i guess it was a limited then. my bad. sorry guys.

The Crossfire you saw was indeed Tom Burris. He has a NA Limited, which is pretty modified from the appearance standpoint. I believe he has a K & N set up as far as his air intake, and also has a Mercedes engine cover. Tom is a great fellow, and always happy to talk about Crossfires. He is also a great source of knowledge.

I have a graphite SRT6, which I take to the Pavillions about once a month. Although I've heard that there are several in Phoenix, so far I've only seen a couple of them. One of them is almost identical to mine, and is driven by a "mature" woman who has handicap plates on the car. She drives it like that "little old lady" from Pasadena. I see her almost once a week.

I will be at the Pavillions this Saturday, starting around 4:00PM. Stop by if you get a chance.

Arizona John

Hey Josh,

Yes I invited him to the weekly show on friday nights on 91st ave and Northern. A friend of mine told me he was there and I went home and picked up the 6 and met him. Very nice guy and very tastefully done. I really like that color and wish the 6 came in that color. It's a N/A. As for others in the area, yes most join the fun runs on the other forum. I think at last count there are at least 9 in AZ and 6 in the valley.

Later,
Cruzin
