What kind of gas mileage do you get?
I don't mean when your trying to set a mpg record...just whats your average when driving normal?
Whatever normal is for you.

I'm usually around 23-25 MPG. That's 90% expressway driving in the 80MPH range with the occasional romp over 100.
On a recent trip to the other side of the state and back, doing a consistent 70ish I got 28.7
Seems there's one thing us limited people have over the SRT's!

Nevermind - I missed the fact that this thread is located in the SRT6 section. Please forgive my ignorance.
My non-SRT6 Crossfire routinely gets between 25 and 27 MPG.

I was getting 23mpg with a lot of highway miles until I put the 178 pulley on her. I think it is closer to 20mpg now. This seems to be the range for a SRT. Having the pulley does make you want to punch it more ofter though, so that could explain the sizable drop in mileage with just a simple pulley upgrade.
If you want 30mpg, unplug the SC! Of course there is NO fun in that, but you can do it.

I averaged it for the first time this week and was at 25mpg. That is with an even mix of city/highway. I was also driving her pretty hard since she is new to me.
Best I ever had was 25. That was the day I got mine and had to cruise back on a police infested highway at 65mph the whole time.
My average now is 15-16. Worst I've ever had was 10.

Did I just see a thread by Kirk, Mr. ***** to the Walls Kirk....start a thread on fuel mileage....you slip on the dock and hit your head again or what....but since you asked, about 5 hrs, you figure that out....lol
Question: MPG threads keep popping up. If the SRT's SC had a vacuum actuated valve instead of the clutch to control SC engagement and the associated drag on the engine, would an SRT get closer to 30mpg on the highway like a NA XFire - ASSUMING it was driven like a sane person?
Thoughts?

What is crazy to me is people are wanting to get better gas mileage on a supercharged sports car. If you really want a car for the gas mileage, get a prius. if you want fast, the srt6 is the way to go.
It's like buying the biggest truck possible and worrying about the gas mileage. It's going to suck, but MPG is not the reason you would want it.
