Default Auto stick moves...

I searched and couldn't find any thing about this... But I have never noticed this before I got my car back from the dealer. If I romp on it, the gear selector moves around a lot. Even if I try to hold it in places it still moves as if it is moving with the tranny. I guess what I am asking, is this normal?

no....what did they do to the car...service??? Motor mounts are known to be weak on some models...this will allow movement of the drive trane....have them check the motor mounts...

Look at the engine mounts.

Yeah, what doc said... I had a motor mount break, and that's how I found
out. The gear selector would jump would I'd step on the gas.

mine has a little play i have noticed this. Nothing major but it does wiggle when i romp on it. If yours is extreme i would consider you have all 3 mounts checked. Two on the motor and one on the transmission.

Does anyone know if poly mounts are made instead of the rubber ones?
