How much would you be willing to pay for the luggage?

 

Good luck finding any. Last year some dude snapped up all the remaining stock and was selling them for $130-150 a set. I picked up a real set of SRT6 (they have the SRT6 badge on them) and another set to go with my 2007. Haven't seen anything but the occasional stock bags since, and they are not as fast as the SRT6 bags. PS -- The SRT6 bags did have the n/a rims -- kind of disappointing.

 

BUT THEY'RE BLACK, AND BLACK RULES ......

Those are not OEM ...... but they look OK??? ....... I just went to Wally World and found a 3pc cheap set ($19), which the large wheel on unit is 20x13x7 and includes a 15x11x6 inch carry tote and a utility kit. I wouldn't give it to an airline because of the quality, but they fit in roadster trunk. In fact I bought 2 sets, and all fit. Check it out if you're lookin only for car use. They come in black and red .....

 

this is the luggage I'm speaking as a matter of fact this is the luggage I purchased it's in transit right now, can't wait to put it into my closet and leave it there.

What's the set fetching these days? I have my set put away as well.

I'll find out how good of a deal it was once I see the condition of it in person, I'm satified from the pictures that it's in fine shape but pictures and in your hand are sometimes very far apart. the toughest part of this purchase was getting my wife to let me buy luggage that i plan on putting in the closet in plastic bags in boxes.

 

Did all original ownwrs of SRTs get a set of luggage?

 

Seems like the majority of 1st buyers a few lucky 2nd buyers after chrysler auction got them. The rest had to buy them from original owners who sold. Still pretty rare to find a set still in plastic in boxes. I still have my new floor mats in plastic. Someday I'll say screw it and either sell the car or start using the luggage.

 

Or you could just buy a set of SRT6 emblems on ebay and mod your Limited luggage...

Might be best to wait - lot's of modded 6's on the market...

 

Those emblems look cheap to stick on luggage, but in reality no one would know the difference unless they seen the real thing in person. Yea I'm not selling anytime soon, once I'm done I'll probably give it to my daughter.

 

The SRT badging isn't the only diff. The SRT luggage has gray lining and the wheelie bag has gray piping too. The Limited luggage has black lining and piping.

 

Maybe I'm delusional but I have visions of a Barrett Jackson guy fawning all over the original SRT6 luggage when my super roadster attains collector car status. Until then it stays in the box. It will probably rot before that happens.
