Default Feeler SSB SRT6 for sale

Just came back from spending vacation with my uncle in Idaho. He gave me great news on the family heirloom I've been waiting on for quite some time. He going to give me the 55. So the time to start making room is coming. From someone who has owned over 50 cars in the past 10 years, owning the SRT for 3 years is a testament to how fun this car is. The 55' is the only car that I've said all along that will fill it's shoes. It's been in the family 52 yrs. Here I am firing it up.

Ok I've been asked what's my number and took me a while so here it is. Completely Stock with Warranty $18k, Modded with everything included $21k. I've listed prices on everything you could purchase today on my list and it's just over $8700 and doesn't include any shipping or labor. Ouch...but was worth every penny

Here is what I have either together or parting out.
SRT6 with nav and original conti's. Purchased July 07 with 212 miles
Registered with Chrysler as original owner.

Original owners manuals

1- SRT6 dash plaque never installed $10
1- set of rear brake pads $60
NW Power Steering line relocation kit $70
Intake Manifold Bolt Kit $50
K&N Extreme Filter $50
K&N Replacement Filter $38
Intake Manifold Cork Gaskets $20

What has been replaced under warranty
Headlights - both replaced
Fuel Pump
Drivers door lock mechanism
Transmission TSB leak

What needs to be replaced under warranty
Hood shock- I don't trust the dealerships around here so haven't taken in.

History of car
It's the fastest ASP 178 pullied car not on spray. 11.86 and still has more in it with the right conditions. I have raced this car at the track for the past 3 years. I have numerous videos on youtube. I am meticulous about the maintenance and preparation of my car. Everything has to be perfect or I don't run it. Never had leaning issues with tune. Have plenty of datalogs to prove it. I only ran the best products and best tune available along with 100 octane fuel. This car has been spoiled with the best.

The only irreversible modification is the o2 sensor. Besides that there isn't a hole drilled into the car.

If your in AZ and want to come by just shoot me a PM. It's too hot right now to do anything, so will be sitting for the summer.

Thanks it has lots of sentimental value for me. My father originally bought the car here in Glendale, Az back in 1958 from the Glendale police department. He bought a 60' Impala with a 348 with 3 deuces on it, and gave the 55' to my uncle. He's kept it the same condition ever since. Still have diamond tuck seats in back.

Thanks Brian can't wait to bring it home. Will have to take it to the track up there one last time before I can. Hopefully this winter, but will be up to my uncle when he says to come get it. So unless I get offered a great price, I'll still have it until then. Still hoping to make Sacramento this winter to put the record away for good.

The main difference between my car and the others is they were chasing me. I'm still chasing MD's memory.

It sure does, the long tube headers sound good. I'm going to have to install some shortys though to get some ground clearance. It only has a few inches right now.

Not parting out just yet, will start a new thread if I decide to go in that direction. Seems these cars sell for the same money completely stock.

Keep the crossfire and the chevy. I did.

I gotta ask. Is that 55 chevy still running the stock drum brakes and single master cylinder or was I seeing things?

It sure does. I would keep the SRT6, but already have a 68' Chevy P/U, 63' Nova, and a 65' Rambler Marlin. I'm selling the Marlin, but not sure about the others. I've had the nova since 93', and the truck I built for my dad who passed 2 yrs ago. Both the nova and the 68' have the disc brake upgrade. The 55' would get them right out of the gate. That's only because I started making room to get to this point a year ago. Sold my 67' Camaro and 55' 2dr hardtop. Trying to narrow down to 2 cars for just fun.

Good luck with the sale!

Make that 4 bearings. I will have to add storage fees.

Holding on to everything until I actually decide to sell. Rob sells them or at least had a few extra last time I checked.

I couldn't keep just 2 so I built a bigger garage.

I would love that if I had the land. My in-laws do and I've kept project cars over there for many years. I asked about building a garage there, but they didn't like the idea. So I let it go. Don't have the option of moving and not enough room for a garage that would make me happy at my place. Wish I was out in the country with no HOA's. It's a disease collecting cars, I had to bite my tongue on the way back from Idaho. Seen a Typhoon for $6k that would of been a nice addition. On insurance for the cars I use Hagerty, very cheap.

MD SRT6's son laid down an 11.397 sec. - 128.6 MPH run back in January - with just a single NW intake, a 3" exhaust ...(and I'm assuming factory Manifolds)

You didn't know that...

Your a little out of the loop on this one. He had a 181, plus p/p heads, and p/p supercharger. He had the nw mani's, was the first before me to get them. The p/p work was just shy of $4k iirc. He's the fastest 181 or pullied car there was.

not to get too off topic, but did MDSRT6 ever clarify that run was without spray? That mph seems too close to his spray runs to not be ... and why wouldn't he run it with spray after if it wasn't?

Yea it's mudding my thread. No I honestly believe that was without spray. He didn't put up all his runs because there were too many. Not even his best in the 10's with spray was ever posted. With all the porting and custom tuning that InMotion was doing for him, in sea level DA that run is very possible. I think it was posted because of props for his son running those numbers. That's quite an accomplishment for a young driver to handle. Big props to him, it's in his blood. The run your comparing that too was in the beginning when he first began to spray.
