Free throttle response, cooling mod.

Yeah, you guys are right.
It's totally impossible that the brainiacs at MB bumped up timing a little when the A/C is on.
And the slightly raised idle speed would never translate to a little quicker off the line throttle response.
Or the fan running full time would probably do nothing for cooling while your in traffic.
Now go spend $900 on an intake.

An interesting thread I figured would die quick. But it never hurts to have a lively conversation about twittling with our little cars.
I seem to recall my '82 K car Lebaron convertible, with 90 humping HP, had a compresor button for the same purpose. I actually labeled it "Turbo Boost"
This interuption circut seems a whole lot of effort to "fool" the ECU when you could just get someone like TVT or Eurocharged to do this for you by telling it to just do that. (and more actuallly).
Saves a funky switch on the dash and the task of pulling wires thru the firewall.
Plus, it would work winter or summer and your AC system could then be a comfort device and not a "power booster."
Just sayin'
Have fun tinkerin'

It'll do as much for modding performance as an AC compressor cutoff switch
Nuff said.
