thier pretty good cars, a bit small for me (6'5" 270) the lack of lsd is irritating, like trying to race a 03 srt4
but i hope we have that fixed soon.

The tranny leak is it that one seal with the screw in the middle i am reading about???
I think all drive tires wear prematurely when my foot is involved lol
Thanks for the info though cause it could be a deciding factor.
If your interested in a Mercedes C class, go with a used c32. Same engine as the srt6 also its a Kompressor. However you'll have to take a hit on the yr and interior. One with low mileage will run about 14k. Low mileage for an 02' I am talking about 50k. The newer 03' and 04' c32's are pretty much the same but obv will cost more. I have a 05' c230k myself. They are not quick, but hard to compare to a srt6. The c32 is more comparable, simply because that is the performance version. A c55 (the v8, W203 chassis AMG was built in only 05', maybe a few from 06' but I haven't seen one. That has the newer interior, obv the bad *** 5.5L v8. And will tear up a lot of stock cars, however that is in a way other price range 30k and up) The srt6 are basically 02' slk32's. A different badge and some other stuff (obv the shell is way different too). They are both great cars, but all depending on what you need. Do you need to seat 5? If not hands down, srt6. They are sick *** cars, fast hand built AMG engine, very rare. If you want speed and to seat 5 and need the MB badge, go with a c32. Or even a E55, an 02' if you like that body. CLK55 are also an option. I love the C43's also they are the v8 W202 C's 98' and 99' only. They can be had for under 10, and its a Mercedes so if it was taken care of, it will run forever. Any thing you decide will be a good choice though. Thats just my 2 cents. But keep in mind, an srt6 is 90% Mercedes so parts will not be priced at Chrysler's price levels, nor will service, some ppl bring that into play when looking at cars. Always use 0w-40 Mobil 1 European blend, with any of the cars listed above. I've also herd good things about the royal purple 0w-40 blend. But I'll stick w Mobil 1 since thats what the dealers use.
Good luck on your search, and post pics of either. Join MBworld, if you get the MB.
