Thumbs up Hi all, just stopping by

Whats up

So whats the latest in the SRT6 world?
When I sold mine almost 18 months ago the latest was C3 intercooler was a major flop, The twin CAI was just hitting the market, people were in the low 12s. MDSR6 (i think was his SN) spent alot of money having some heads and a S/C ported IIRC, headers/exhaust mods were proving not to be a worthy gain. Oh, and there was a turbo SRT in the works.

Sooo... since that time, whats the latest? People are blowing up rear ends now? What else is new? What are the hot/proven mods and what are the proven needed to replace because it fails parts (ICs and heat exchanger pumps were the only 2 common issues I recall). Anyone hit 400whp without spray?

I sure miss the SRT6!

Two 6's in the 10's countless in the 11's and I just beat up on 3 modded C5/C6 Vettes by putting lengths on them during the straits in a 'near stock' Six last weekend at Auto Club Speedway Fontana Roval ourse. It's a good time to own a Crossfire IMO, it always takes a few years for a model to come into their own

I dont know about 'countless' in the 11's.... but there are several....MANY knocking on the door....

Probable Wavetrack LSD in a group buy very soon....

The NW Dual CAI is terrific....

and only MD was in the 10's with spray. Sold his car cheap on ebay. That's the latest hottest trend on here. All the wave of new leftover SRT6 buyers are selling or getting into something else. Still a great car, but some of us get bored too quickly. I am speaking for myself. Mine will go for sale sometime before years end officially. Proven mods are what's on my car from Needswings and the 178 pulley. Still no cooling mods, factory exhaust, stock plugs and wires, even replacement bosch pump. No issues and consistent 11 sec passes. InMotion tune is what makes it all worth together and no leaning. Most important part of modding in my opinion. Haven't been able to lower my times now that I have the dual CAI, all my 11's were with the single. If I still own it this winter, you know I'll be at the track.

Hi Chris,

Your old Roadster is still running very strong but not getting too many miles put on it. I've only had it out a couple times this year! The wife and I love it but haven't had the time to utilize it much. Going out for a cruise and some street racing today to show up a few Mustangs, RoadRunners and Vettes. Haven't had it to the track but it takes down cars that run low 12"s at the Rock. People can't believe how strong it is! Mike

I saw a red Crossfire yesterday with an SRT spoiler. Didn't get close enough to see the SRT badge due to heavy traffic. Are you telling me that was an N/A? If so, anyone have any idea who it might have been in MD?

well that makes it NOT a N/A then...... that is just great work by the build team
think of how many would have sold if they put that engine in the Crossfire to start with....

Good to see you check in!! Biggest "news" on the forum definitely has to be Mister Taz's roadster... the thing is absolutely sick.

There's also a Limited roadster in Germany with a Kleemann kompressor, he's just recently checked in and info is still pretty slim at the moment. No numbers or anything of that nature. It sure looks pretty though!!
