Where was the SRT-6 made?

hey guys,....about to import the SRT-6 from the states to Canada...was the car built outside on North America?I know all Chryslers are built in NA but because this has the whole AMG engine etc...let me know..want to know If i am gonna be paying the 6.1 % duty

I imported mine in February of this year. Customs collected $100 air cond. tax and GST on the price converted to CND dollars on the day it was imported. VIN has a 1 for country code so no duty. Not sure what they'll collect now with the HST?

once again your incorrect. the amg engine was assembled in affalterbach the crossfire was assembled in Osnabrück, Germany.

Your Customs broker should just provide the Vin number and as previously stated above, the 1, indicates to CBSA that the car was built in North America therfore you will not be required to pay the 6.1% duty.
Have you already purchased the car?
