Does this car look a little sketchy?

One other thing -- you'd need a brake-job soon, there's a nice lip on the front rotor.

I also dont see the clips that hold the fan in at the top.....and the hood latch cable cover looks to be missing(nothing sticking up through the mounting holes)...
There is also a nice DENT in the rear left next to the light....

...here I thought craigslist was putting a stop to adult solicitation
That pretty much solidifies it has been in a front end accident to me. I'd stay away from this car outside of offering them something to make it a parts car.
lastly, : The car is very fast and handles great. Serious inquires only, no Joyrides"
To know it is fast and handles great would indicate to me they either drive it in a joyride state all the time and consider mild cruising to be joyrides, or they haven't a clue what they are talking about.
Can't believe non of you guys said anything about the gap between the
passenger side headlight assembly and the bumper, or how the bumper
pieces that go up alongside the grill towards the hood come no where close
to lining up with the hood at a reasonable gap.
Make no mistake, this car has been hit, and hit hard. I would recommend
this car only to a person who already has an SRT-6 and wants to have a
parts car for future needs. And, only after having the major components
inspected by an independant Mercedes mechanic.
I'd say pass on this one, spring for the additional $6K and buy one with a
better pedigree.

Most of us saw it. Without looking underneath it's impossible to know how bad it was hit and why the gaps are bad. Could be that someone tried to fix it themselves on the cheap. I would never buy it without a good look in person but it's possibly an easy fix for a pro. I agree that the best advice for a teen is to avoid it. However, if I lived in the area and it drove correctly I would make an offer. A low one naturally.

That passenger's seat looks like it has been through some adult solicitation of it's own.
