I saw this add on craigs list does it look like it may have some problems? To me the hub caps dont look right and it seemed a little underpriced. I might run a carfax on it if I plan at looking at it anyway.

There is a gap between the bumper and hood on one side of the grill and not on the other. Considering there's no visible damage you can only assume it was in an accident at some point and poorly repaired.

I see the same thing. It was hit and the nose replaced. The color looks off a bit and the fitment is ...... not good enough. That doesn't mean it's a bad car or deal, but it's going to need some work to look perfect, if it matters to you.

Probably so. With the Needswings CIA, the owner could be a member of this forum. But if he's that sloppy about taking care of bumper damage, I would ask him for maintenance records (i.e. oil changes). Still, on the surface it's a great price.

That NW CAI is off.... it has the filter in engine bay and looks like it is tied to the overflow tank...

I also dont see the clips that hold the fan in at the top.....and the hood latch cable cover looks to be missing(nothing sticking up through the mounting holes)...

There is also a nice DENT in the rear left next to the light....

Car looks lowered to me as well. Notice the gap at the top of the instrument cluster and some pry marks.

Good eye...

The front bumper mis-aligned - - real tight gap between the hood and the DS fender - - the paint is off just a touch - - half a NW wired to the coolant tank - -

seems like it got hit on the passenger front, took out the bumper, perhaps grill and the front of the intake. May have also had the radiator and fan replaced.

I would look at where the fender bolts onto the engine bay for paint mis-match...

If the frame and front wheel alignment are OK - these can be good bargaining points...

EDIT ** I just took another look at the engine picture - radiator hoses dont look right - like they are off a N/A crossfire or MB.

What a waste to turn a NW CAI into a HAI. Also, I noticed that the glove box is not aligned with the rest of the dash. I would not be surprised if this car has a salvage title. Too many things that are not lined up right on this car. It was definitely a hack job on the repairs. If he is willing to do such a terrible job of repairs and sell it that way.... What else could be wrong that is not readily visible? 11K is a good price, but by the time you take care of all the problems that are visible just from the pics, you could find a pristine SRT that would most likely cost you less in the long run. Oh, and to answer one of your initial questions.... The wheels (not hubcaps) are original SRT Whelels. That instrument panel would concern me, as it appears that the car was hit on the passenger front, but there are alignment problems on the drivers side.

I would remommed you you approach this one with the utmost caution!!!

Also missing the inner fender liner. Paint is so far off, it's an eyesore.

I'd hold off from this one... you'll spend what you saved just making it right again.

Dang John.... How did we all overlook that one. Ok, what else can we find?

It is missing the cigarette lighter,

There are no floor mats

The passenger side map net is damaged.

Nice catches!

Also, right-front rim has been curbed.

Now you made me pull out my reading glasses. LOL

There is a crack in the front support assembly (not sure if that is the correct nomenclature) just to the left of the drivers headlight.

Nice catch again!

It appears the TPMS/adjacent light is lit, as well as another amber one on the right side. E-brake isn't engaged, so it isn't that...

Seems the passenger side intake manifold has some sort of funk all over it... he's also missing his wiper-arm nut covers, and he's missing the positive terminal cap on his battery. At least it's a new battery!

Oh yea nice catch!! - I thought the radiator hoses were making a statement --

Look at the fan clamps (left and right) on top of the radiator support....

It may not be fully extended... Looks fine to me but I'd have to go look at mine.

One other thing -- you'd need a brake-job soon, there's a nice lip on the front rotor.
