Default Removing the Wing

I know this has been discussed before, but if I removed the wing, would it be dangerous to drive on the interstate?

Ebay has a roof spoiler that looks a helluva lot better than that godawful kiddie wing, and I'm thinking about going that route.

thanks

If you remove the wing, you won't have any trouble selling that ugly thing

What kind of wing did you find on eBay? Just curious as to what you would replace your wing with. And, yes...... your stock SRT wing would sell very fast on the forum if you decide to go that route. Good luck with the mod.

A roof spoiler, huh? Don't forget the fart-can exhaust, Pep Boy seats, and fuzzy dice to complete the look.

I really don't know why you guys think the rear srt-6 wing is that bad. I love the look of the rear wing. And it does provide rear down-force at high speeds. Leave the wing alone!!! =))

I would think that 99.9% of the members here would agree.

Now thats funny Lantana lol. I heard it was a CAF.The Clarckson air foil was designed and installed to break up the line of the well documented "squating dog or dumping dog image"lol. By all counts (almost all) it was a rousing success.

We used to have a chinese Pug and one time it was in the back yard taking a dump and I couldn't believe how much the dog looked like a Crossfire! The best way to fix the dog taking a dump look is to lower the car but the wing will do the trick too

Glad we can laugh at ourselves. If you are serious about that SRT 8 wing remember you will give up some of your stealth mode. Still a big suprise for any one that tries.

Don't remove the wing.....just sell the SRT6 to someone that might appreciate the car for the fine machine that it is.

I like the SRT6 wing but I also like the NA wing and it's mechanical deployment. However, I also appreciate that it was the designers intention to have the wings differenciate the two vehicles. JMO

I'm kind of in the middle on this. I love the performance of the SRT6, but never really liked the wing. That's part of the reason I bought an NA Coupe. I like the look of the spoiler better and figured if I really want a little more power, I'd get it tuned.

I'd probably leave an SRT6 wing alone too -- UNLESS I found one that really looked good and integrated better than the current one. People modify our cars a fair amount, and while I like most modifications, especially if they are somewhat subtle, I love the look of the car to do too much to it unless it's subtle.

Love to see what you end up doing.

Well just throwing this out there but if there are any SRT6 roadster owners that want the NA wing, I'd be more than happy to do a straight up trade and do all the wiring to make it work if you can make it up to the Wisconsin area. Heck, I'll even spring for paint on both.

Now that's funny! I guess a V8 would require a surf board.
