Fitment of 18" rear rims on srt6 ??
I bought a set of snow tires with rims from tire rack. The rears are 225/45/18 there is something making a clicking noise from the back with these tires on.I just backed out of the drive way it sounded awful. I cannot find where they are rubbing. Is anyone running 18" rear tires?? thanks
sounds like the lug bolt was not for that rim and went through and messed up the parking brake cable and other brake parts. good luck,,, jim

grab a stock rear wheel, stick the stock lug thru it, measure the distance it protrudes
grab the new rim/spacer/lug and do the same to compare

You guys are spot on as always. I did not drive the car perhaps 30' and pulled the wheels off. I measured the stock bolt it goes about 5/16" into the hub. The new wheel bolt goes 10/16" into hub the brake springs are right there. The bolt just barely scared the spring in the hub. the bolts have 1" of thread they should have no more that 3/4". Maybe I got lucky with no damage. Thanks for the help!!!
Here is where I have found the best prices on lug bolts. Lug Nuts Wheel Adapters Wheel Spacers Lug Bolts. Hope this helps.
