Default Greddy Emanage ULT

Hey guys,

First off let me introduce myself, Im a tuner in the central florida area, i work tune for 3 major shops here in this area.

I have a good friend of mine whom owns a 05 srt6 and has some basic bolts ons. While looking for tuning options the only things i see are eurocharged reflashes.. Which is fine, but being a tuner i like to be able to tweak things myself and for this cars individual mods.

Has anyone used the emanaged ultimate of aem fic before on these cars?

Is there currently a way to open source this ecu? Any defenitions or xml files avl?

Thanks very much for your help, i searched this topic but came up empty handed.

Thanks
Mike

Welcome aboard! I'll try to answer some of you're questions.

If you do a search on either "piggyback" or "aem fic", there are several threads that talk about using those. I believe it was member MDSRT6 that uses a piggyback. However, most of us have tunes from either Eurocharged or Inmotion.

Our ECUs are encrypted, so there's no way to open source it. And the tuners that can access the ECU keep their files proprietary. Last I heard, the software necessary is REALLY expensive. $10k - $20k, I think.

You might be able to contact Eurocharged about being a rep for them. They do (did?) have a rep down in Ft. Lauderdale, but it would be nice to have someone closer to the central Florida area (I'm in Deltona).

You might want to let your friend know that there are a couple of us that go to Orlando Speedworld to drag race. It'd be great to have another SRT6 show up!

Used an F/IC6 on my last car. Pretty straight forward install if you've done them before but there's a lot of wiring as I'm sure you're already aware of.

No, it was on my N/A but all the wires are the same save the SRT6 doesn't have a MAF.

The crank signal is the one you have to worry about but if you keep your runs short and don't untwist them and you'll be fine. Cam is a single wire so nothing to worry about there. Also, since it's Christmas and the season of giving, here is a PDF of the little cheat sheet I made up for doing the one on my car.

*Please note that this worked for me but if you use it, you do so at your own risk and I accept no liability for any damages associated with it's use.*

Not sure. Tomorrow night is the last "street drags" of the year, but I won't be going. I used to go fairly regularly, but lately I've been having major traction problems. Which really blows since we've had such great weather for racing. If you want, I could send you a PM the next time I go.

Also, they occasionally have the track open on Sundays for their Funday Sunday. These events are when Mimi05SRT6 usually goes. Keep your eye on the Racing forum here, as Neil usually posts in there for a Funday Sunday.
