I don't think he is selling one of his.......in his title it says COUPE.
I think he just knows of one for sale. We'll see.

I might add if TOPLESS is selling his car...you will get a car that is cleaner than new...I have never seen a guy detail a car this good...it is spotless...literally spotless...I was ashamed to even open my hood around his...I thought I kept mine pretty clean...

Yeah, you may be right. Anyway, if the one in Wisconsin were available when I was looking, I would have seriously considered it. Same color I have (and was looking for at the time), low mileage plus a decent price.

I hear you on the dealer front. God knows what fees they'll add on top of the fact that I'm sure whoever you deal with will be the pushiest person on earth. I've only talked to one dealer about a Crossfire and I'll never do that again. "WHEN CAN YOU PICK IT UP? HOW FAR AWAY ARE YOU? TODAY? WHAT ABOUT TODAY? HOW ABOUT THE DAY BEFORE TOMORROW AND AFTER YESTERDAY!?"

Just to give you an idea, I recently sent over a deposit on a Crossfire in New Mexico (I live in Michigan). 2005 SRT-6 coupe, dark grey, 15,000 miles for $17,000 flat. The car is in MINT condition so I can't imagine paying more than that. Plus, the good thing about a private seller is that he's willing to just wait until the snow melts here to sell it to me.

It's a 1 owner (Chrysler Exec) Gray SRT-6 convertible, 1,000 miles just like buying new but 5-6yrs old. Never seen bad weather ever, and sits in heated garage under an SRT-6 cover with promo luggage and carpets are still covered. All paperwork dealer/invoice magazines build sheets etc (even picked this one out while being built. The price 32k... It won't be sitting around if/when I get it. Just some advice (maybe people that bought new) is this too much to justify for a 5+ yr old car, but just like looking back in time at the showroom (it does get started and driven and even has had an oil changes). I do see many with 10-20k on the clock for 10k-15k less $$ 2 owner cars? But new is what I like...

Thanks for the insights!
Here's an SRT6 Roadster located in a western Philadelphia suburb of West Chester, see the attached ad.....

I have a standing offer on mine for 30k. Not sold because I could not replace it. Money is only important when you don't have any. Gary

Looks like the SRT6 is entering a new phase, original owners turning loose,
Lower social-economic picking them up (me)...
I bet whatever ones make it thru this group, will begin to increase in value.
Time frame -- 5yrs?
Will be interesting to watch

Tell your friend that you know of a pristine black SRT Roadster with 27K miles that can be had for $30K. I will sell mine in a heartbeat for that price. Then I can buy a nice limited for $12K.... And add a Rudy SC V-8 for $25K.

I paid $21k in Jan 2008 for my SRT6, which had 8400 miles then. I thought it was a little high, but it was the color I wanted and close by (Chicago, about 160 miles away). I have seen them cheaper, but with a lot higher miles. I agree that 32k is out of line, but maybe he sees the future when all our XFs will be collectibles. In the meantime, I just enjoy driving my twins.

Ok, here is the car I was wanting to get but he just would not budge on 34k 4 dayse ago and now it's at 32,9k and I had even offered him 32k. After seeing many with low miles in the past couple of months go for 10-15k less I'm glad and a little sad that I did not go through with it. Notice how it's just a buy now price and no bidding. PS he did not pay anything close to that invoice since he was an exec from Chrysler. He did say he had someone else that was coming to get it, guess that fell through? I'll keep watching and hoping he will sell for less. I did see the car and it is clean, but not 33k clean.

well...looks like that coupe @ Wilde Chrysler in Wisconsin that I called out in another thread went as someone's Christmas present. So...that leaves the New York coupe with the bizarre seller and this guy who is quite unrealistic as the only very low mileage SRT-6's for sale in the US right now. If I win the cal lottery tonight, I'll take 'em both with complete support of my wife.

I paid $19,750 for a Black SRT6 Coupe w/ 982 miles. Bought it from a guy on craigslist who lives in WA, and I'm all the way down in TX. Drove it back to TX--2000 miles--in a weekend with a busted IC pump, so the SC kept shutting off on me every few minutes. Lol needless to say, a fun drive.

Good luck with the search, and don't pay that crazy high price!

Ok, back again. Still had my eye on this one and now noticed it has listed 2 owners on the carfax? I did send a message asking why, but we will see what happens.
