I remember someone else posted about this earlier this year.....Never heard anymore about the particular car, which sucks! When reading the various posts one of the guys makes it sound as if there is this large anonymous group (and growing) out there dropping american v8's into the crossfire. If that were true, you would think we would hear more about it.

This thread piqued my interest. I had two Hemis. The first was a 1956 Chrysler New Yorker. Superb car but too expensive to operate. Sold it and got an MG. The second was a 1966 Satellite with a 426c. my brother rolled it. I checked my Crossfire and found it is a partial Hemi. You can't go back. Gary

I think this story makes for a great urban legend. Would be kind of cool to have a GTG in New Mexico that hunts for this car in the mountains.
I also thought the LS1 forum treated us very well. The mention of the 3.07 rear is a hint that the car if it really exists started life as a SRT but their is no mention of the car looking like a SRT.
