Default New SRT owner

Hey all,

I've only had my crossfire SRT for about a month. I was hoping to get some input as to whats worth it / what I can do. I don't have much modding experience so bare with me!

I want...

Needswings cold air intake
Dodge Viper seats
Sprintbooster
Larger fuel injectors (see below --extra turbo/super)
Smaller pulley system for the supercharger(s)
and finally (to start) a larger muffler ((NOT the gay honda civic look at me mufflers!))

I'm PLANNING on getting a twin scroll turbo for the supercharger... I've always liked the theory of having the low end of the supercharger and the high end of the turbo. Although I am considering dual superchargers because for normal daily driving... I dont usually get up the the speed / rpm to RLY get the most out of a turbo.

PS. I want my car to idle loud, not crazy but I want it to have that rumble... when it idles.

THANKS for all the input all!!!

Photo,
I am totally shocked...you took it so easy on him.
Are you feeling alright? Do you need medical assistance? 911 is only a short call away.

To the OP, start searching around. There is a ton of info on the site about your new ride.
Get that IC pump fixed and enjoy it!

Cheers,

i wouldnt ruin the car by pulling out the nice stock seats.

i also wouldnt waste money on the johnson ic pump, get the bosh ford lighthing pump for under $80 and swap it out. you gain no power by spending over $120+ with the more expensive pump. also, i would not upgrade the heat exchanger.

hey all, im the one that originally started the thread.

Question, is the pump something I can replace? i went to 3 different dealerships and each had a different story... 2 wanted 2600 to replace it, yes.... 2600... im 90% sure they were looking at a different part. one dealership had never had an srt6 so, wasnt rly comfortable letting them work on my vehicle. and one said it would take 4 hours of labor at 110 an hour!

so, can i replace the 100 dollar pump? or do i srsly have to spend 400 on labor?

Spend the $110 and replace it yourself.

I just realized she never mentioned having a problem w/ the IC pump, I guess you meant for preventive maintenance for the inevitable pump failure. But she may have a problem with some of those other proposed mods. Hey, ohboykittens, good advice above with reading and searching this Forum. It's all been done before, except for a couple of your proposed Mods.

Should the owner buy the one with the free shipping or the one with the free electrical pigtail connector ? The ebay seller offers it both ways.
